They will help solve your interface problems, assist in selection of the right product specifications to meet your requirements, and most importantly of all, they are always available to provide technical support when you need it.

 

Preface
We use the latest generation transducers, high technology components and incorporate them within heavy duty, precision engineered housings suitable for use in hostile environments with a choice of analogue and/or digital output of velocity and/or position control, to replace or reciprocate customers existing transducer outputs.

The housings are tailored to customers requirements incorporating heavy duty taper roller bearings, capable of withstanding heavy side and end loads on the input shaft.

A typical example of the combination of transducers which can be built into the unit is a DC tacho/brushless resolver configuration. This offers a high sensitivity DC/digital output of velocity which can be optimised to suit a particular speed range. An absolute digital output of up to 24 bit resolution, and/or an incremental digital output up to 100000 pulses per revolution can also be incorporated. Should the use of a standard DC tacho not be desirable, a DC velocity output with a linearity of 0.5% is a available from a resolver and conversion electronics encapsulated within the same modular construction. Our products also provide proprietary I/O interfaces, for fast and efficient communications with PLC’s and controllers.

Research & Development
Our aim is for continuous improvement through our own research and development. We also develop and improve our range of products, manufacturing techniques and quality of the end product.

Field Service/Design
Broderick Projects offer the service of our skilled engineers to visit on site locations for the design and measurement on any encoder/transducer interface, with the facility for installation once manufacture is completed. The fitment and alignment guaranteed, thus avoiding any ‘SPLIT RESPONSIBILITY’ giving total reliability and integrity.
