All versions of the Broderick Projects modular assemblies are manufactured from non-ferrous materials. Each section of the construction has ‘O’ ring seals and input/output shafts are environmentally protected with the use of a double-lipped seal.
The assemblies have been designed to operate within a wide temperature range, with the ambient of 40° celsius being specified. The construction is maintenance free and as standard is supplied with a MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL WARRANTY OF TWO YEARS.
Degree of Protection
The standard version of Broderick Projects transducer options meets with the requirements of IP67 suitable for rolling mill wet areas, spray and oil mist resistant. An IP68 rating is available.
Electrical Connection
As standard on all Broderick Projects assemblies each transducer within the construction will have individual electrical connections, a multi-pin plug and socket, which comes complete with a 3m fly lead. A hard wired version to each transducer can be produced in preference.
Mountings
Broderick Projects Ltd have the facility to mount any of the transducer assemblies onto custom/purpose built mechanical interfaces. We offer standard mounting options to interface with most of our assemblies. One option, for custom built assemblies is shown below.
